The Aviation Blog

The world’s largest science and technology magazine, Popular Science, has named the 777X as one of the 2015 “Best of What’s New” winners in the aerospace category.

The awards are presented to 100 new products and technologies in 12 categories from aviation to health.

Saying “wing size matters,” editors singled out the 777X for its new composite wings that will deliver greater efficiency and fuel savings to our airline customers.

Magazine editors reviewed thousands of products in search of the top 100 tech innovations of the year. The winners are featured in the December issue of Popular Science, and we’re thrilled to make the list.

The original blog post can be found on Randy’s Journal, a blog of thoughts and observations hosted by Randy Tinseth, vice president marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes: Randy’s Journal: Best of What’s New.
