The Dreamliner is opening up new routes all over the world. Just a few short months ago, 75 new nonstop routes had been opened with the 787. Today, that total has jumped to more than 100 routes that have been announced or are already in operation.

Now British Airways has launched the first ever nonstop service between London and San Jose using a 787-9.

The new route is a daily service and the first to connect San Jose directly with Europe. British Airways’ 787-9 seats 216 customers across four cabins, including a new eight suite first class. This is a great example of the capabilities the 787 brings to Boeing customers. Check out the British Airways 787-9 first class cabin in the video below.
